Expanding AfrIPEN's Digital Presence: Connecting, Engaging, and Empowering the Next Generation of IPE Leaders!
AfrIPEN is committed to expanding its reach and fostering meaningful engagement across diverse digital platforms, enhancing collaborations within the interprofessional education (IPE) community throughout Africa. With a focus on connecting with young professionals and students, AfrIPEN is embracing the power of modern social media, including launching a TikTok account to engage younger audiences who are more active on emerging platforms rather than traditional ones like Facebook. With AfrIPEN hosting its own website and giving area leads access to manage their respective working groups and membership details, the organization is also enhancing its digital infrastructure to streamline communication and collaboration.
As we continue to grow and evolve, AfrIPEN seeks assistance in managing its various online profiles to maximize outreach and ensure sustained engagement with members across Africa.
2025 AfrIPEN Calendar: Constellations of Change
This year’s calendar, themed “Constellations of Change,” marks AfrIPEN’s transformative journey over the past years. It reflects how every initiative, collaboration, and milestone has come together to shape a brighter, interconnected future for interprofessional education in Africa.
2022: River of Life
- Our journey began with the meandering River of Life, where we navigated the unpredictable currents of growth and adaptability. Each day was a new bend, teaching us to flow with change and embrace resilience.
2023: The Road to Malawi
- From flowing waters, we ventured onto The Road to Malawi, a path of intentionality and collaboration. This theme celebrated our physical and metaphorical journey to Malawi for the 4th AfrIPEN Conference, where new partnerships and shared goals were forged.
2024: Flight Paths
- Ready to soar, we embraced the expansive possibilities with Flight Paths, reaching new heights and exploring uncharted territories. It symbolized our readiness to innovate and take bold steps toward the future.
Now, in 2025, Constellations of Change celebrates how each of these journeys has aligned like stars in the night sky. Each month of this calendar highlights a unique constellation that embodies themes of collaboration, innovation, community, and growth—showing how AfrIPEN’s efforts light the way for transformative health education across Africa.
